Jeanne and Daphne --

We have just looked at the hybrid scoring sheets in order to start
thinking about updating computer files and filing the sheets.

I have a recommendation. Each month when a new set of photocopies of
hybrid scoring sheets comes in, I think the ones that came in the
previous month should be DISCARDED. Only the most recent set should
be kept.

This should also be true for scrotal dev, male canines, and other
sheets that stay in the field notebooks for a long time and get
written on over the course of a year or so but get photocopied every
month.

Last June RSM and I decided that these needed to be photocopied every
month because the risk was too great of losing the originals at worst
or losing track of the photocopying task at least. However, I think
there is no reason to keep every monthly iteration of the photocopies.

Let me know if this makes sense to you both, and if so then Daphne
you might want to start sorting and discarding now. It is very
confusing to try to figure out what you are looking at for any given
sheet!
