[Babase] Database conversion

Hi,
I have not been able to tune the database so that it performs
as well as it did. Either I've lost a bit of configuration
in the server upgrade or there's just something different
about the newer version of the database. In any case
I will need to work at it a little longer when I return
on Monday to get the tuning right. (The good news is that
it looks like tuning it right will make it faster
than before.)
Sorry about that. I was up all night re-installing onto
the new papio, and fixing some old bugs the new install
is now clever enough to find and have just run out of
time. It took me too long to recognize that the
conversion was running too slowly.
The consqeuence of this is that my conversions are taking
too long. I've got a bug in the code that's loading
the estimated pregnancy conception Ddates Cathrine
supplied. So, the errors you see will still
have problems in PREGS. :-(
The conversion is still running. I'll set it up
so that it copies the errors when it finishes
to:
/biology/groups/babase/errors
(and loadscript likewise)
I don't expect the conversion to finish until this
afternoon.
After that, the manual rebuild of members, cycstats, et-al
must run. I don't know how long it will take
but I'll set it to start. It should be done by
tomorrow.
Then you should have a converted database, excepting for
the PREGS errors. (Which will probably cascade and cause
other errors.... :-( )
