Maintenance Complete.
The 2 extra drives were added. A small problem is that the drives are
160MB/sec models, and not the 320's I would really have preferred to see
- but they are the only ones I have access to at the moment AND they
were mislabeled as 320's anyway. I will hunt around for some 320's.
You should have LARGE amounts of excess postgres and scratch/srv space
now.
I did encounter a problem: the arch/tla tool that you are using creates
HUGE NUMBERS of files - making backups and rsyncs very slow and painful.
Is there any chance you could migrate to another tool, or conversely
figure out if you can tar up old/rarely used parts of the repositories?
Zillions of tiny files are hard on our backup system.
