[Babase] Transfer of babase work from Pton to Duke

Thanks Leah and Catherine, I've forwarded this to the babase mailing
list. These are all good items to talk about, and when we talk about
Ranks this week we should talk more generally about these items and
set up a phone call specifically about them. Obviously a lot of this
depends on having babase online up and running.
I hope everything is going well there and you're getting comfortable
with babase.
