Hi,

FYI

The Postgresql 7.4 server is configured to not accept
any tcp connections. If you want to use -h with psql
you have to say "-h /tmp", otherwise just leave off the -h.

The Unix user 'postgres' can still connect without a
password. All other users require a postgres database
account and a (md5 hashed) password.
