I don't have any specific recommendations (most of my UPS experience  
is at the data center level).  However, I think this would likely be  
fine for the requirements Karl defined: power conditioning and running  
things during minor power outages.  If you want to be able to shut  
down the system during an extended power outage, you'll need to go  
with another model though, according to the comments.
