<p class=MsoNormal>2009 female ranks are now in babase. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>As Jeanne noted earlier regarding Viola’s group, the
groups (except Omo’s) are getting to a size where it is increasingly
difficult to discern what is occurring as the number of observations of
agonisms gets spread out across more and more individuals. Weaver’s
group was also particularly challenging due to the very thin data we had on
that group in 2008 – we are quite certain we missed a number of rank
changes during 2008 and cannot be sure how many or how well we have captured
them in the 2009 ranks – there may be more work to go on straightening
those out. Nyayo’s was also very noisy. Additionally, please
note the following revisions made to 2008 ranks.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><b>2008 revisions:<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Linda’s group – Liwaza’s credit over
Lancaster in April 2008 was rescinded, such that for that month LAN is rank 9
and LIW is rank 10. This reversal of rank between the two is carried
forward through August (with LAN at rank 10 and LIW at rank 11 from May through
August). Additionally, in September, Little is given credit over Liwaza,
producing LAN rank 10, LIT rank 11, LIW rank 12. This rank order remains
in place through December 2008. Only the switch in ranks between LAN and
LIW is present in the ADF ranks, as LIT was a juvenile at the time.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Nyayo’s group – Durian’s last demotion in
November 2008 was rescinded, leaving her at rank 18, below Scenic and above
Humble, as she had been in October. This rank carries forward to December
2008.<o:p></o:p></p>
