Yes, I think what you've both said is the case. We have certainly used
the IDs in these tables, but for connecting one table to another - I
don't think the specific values of the IDs matter. So it seems fine to
me to change them.
For the FPsamps/JPsamps clean-up I mentioned in my earlier email, can I
do this on our old, separate tables? I imagine it will be easier to
locate juveniles in FPsamps (and vice versa) while the tables are still
separate. Though maybe that's not the case if we have this "type" column.
