Hi All,
As I was reviewing some 1980's records in census with Susan, we
found that my replacement last summer of old census data with real
census data was not a complete replacement. There are still some data
with origin 'S' (from Susan's data) that place individuals in grp 9.00
for certain periods. I did not delete group 9's before doing my upload
as that would have affected not only Alto's group, but Hook's who I was
not, at that time, updating. When these 'S' rows occurred, interpolation
of the newly input census data was stopped as per the rules of the
database, so no interpolated data will appear for those times. However,
following the period when the animal was in group 9, the newer data,
informed by actual censuses will resume as will interpolation.
In terms of resolving the problem, I am going to make it a priority
to get the Hook's Census data ready for upload and possibly starting
from scratch with uploading both Hook's and the Alto's data. After
getting rid of all old, non-interpolating data types. This way all of
those non-interpolating rows will disappear in most cases. This will
involve some talking with Karl, and some thought, but this change will be
made as soon as possible. This shouldn't have any major affect on
anything, it just looks confusing when seen in Members.
If you have any questions about particular data in the meantime,
please don't hesitate to contact me! I will keep everyone updated.
Thanks
Lacey
