A quick amendment:
Jeanne found the real initials for the KSs and they will be uploaded as
KBS (Karen) and KLS (Kerry), as long as Susan has no concerns. This
approach is deliberately engineered to throw an error if we try to
upload data with just the KS initials, although this is most likely the
initials that will appear in any raw data. Jeanne thinks 90% of the
time we will be dealing with Kerry Smith, but we can't be sure...dates
are the only concrete way to check. The goal is to make database
managers stop and think about which KS they are dealing with, and then
change the data accordingly in their file and make a note in the
original data.
