Sorry Karl,
My webmail was set to only send html. I fixed it (I think). I changed the
permissions to g+rwx for the DATA directory. I think this should do it. I
was certain I had already done this but who knows.....Tabby should now
overwrite the files in this dierectory when she wants to put new data on
Papio.

You seem to be sending email that is not-text-at-all, which does
not quote.
Here's a paste:
Karl,
I can't access Papio from home.
Hunter will probably fix this this week. In the meantime you
have to first ssh to login.biology.duke.edu and then
ssh from there to papio. (In this case, you can get
to /biology/groups/babase/ while on login anyhow, so
no need for the second ssh.)
I had thought that I had changed the permissions on the data I had
last placed on papio. I don't want to delete this folder because it
should be the most recent version up on papio unless Tabby has put
other data there.
Right, I don't think deleting the folder is good. But changing
the group ownership and/or permissions is what's needed so that
everybody in the babase group has read and write access to
both the files and the directory itself.
If possible, could you change the permissions. If not I will go in
sometime soon to do this.
Unfortunatly I am but a lesser god on papio. Changing ownership
and permissions inside /biology/groups/babase/ is beyond me.
