Roger that. I am doing 6 month chunks now, and have consistently been deleting starting with the latest dates and working back toward their 'birth'

Thanks for explaining this!

Lacey
Lacey,
If you do one year at a time it has to delete
and add 365 days worth of rows for the first day,
then another 365 days worth of rows for the second day,
and so forth for a total of 365 * 365 days. If you do
10 years worth the number is 3650 * 3650, a much larger
number.

You will also probably find it faster to delete the rows
if you delete the later rows first, at least if there
are some "new style" Status codes later in the individual's
history.
