I think a good approach might be the one Leah and I just spoke about
regards BY dates. She'll give me the data in text form and I'll
transform it to SQL and have the conversion program load it,
in this case I'd load the Ddates as estimated ddates.
This has the advantage of not introducing estimated data into
the foxpro system that cannot be distinguished in a query
from actual data.
A "consistent" way of to do this, is to keep the text files on
the foxpro system, maybe in the DATA directory or somewhere
and I can have my program FTP them along with the dbf files.
This would be instead of you sending the data to me once.
If the text files are kept on the foxpro system you guys
can change the data if you so desire.
Or, maybe it's not worth getting this fancy.
