[Babase] New Food Code

'sticky fruit' is (our) common name for for fruit of a very particular
ground cover plant (in the dry form, not eaten by the baboons, our
family's name for it was 'devil's thorn' because it looked like a tiny
grenade and had thorns in every direction). I'll check the latin name
with Stuart if the field team didn't send it; we should also confirm
that it's not already on the food list. Did the team tell you to add
it?

Hi Jeanne and Leah,

Is simply "a sticky fruit" as good a description as we're likely to get,
or do you think a more descriptive code/term will eventually be
assigned? I was thinking it might be worth checking with the team
before adding SSF to BaBase, but then again I haven't paid attention to
food codes in a while and perhaps we already have several others that
are fairly general.

Just a thought,
Catherine
