Hi,
I've added a new integrity rules to various text columns
in the database. The rules say that the column
can't be empty, contain no spaces. (Note that
no character, '', is different from the NULL value.)
They also say that that column cannot contain nothing
but spaces.
This should eliminate some problems in the future where
we have confusion surrounding values that print the
same but are different, e.g. one space vs two vs none.
The following columns (in no particular order) are affected:
groups.name
biograph.name
biograph.pid
demog.comment
observers.initials
observers.gpsinitials
observers.name
observers.timeframe
