There are some errors in real_cycgaps that look like:
psql:<stdin>:248: ERROR: value too long for type character(1)
psql:<stdin>:270: ERROR: value too long for type character(1)
These are because you put the word "NULL" into single quotes.
NULL is a special value that does not need to be quoted,
whereas 'NULL' is the letters N, U, L, L as text. The
different syntax exists so that you can enter either of
the two values into the database.
We'll just take a look at the errors that come out and run another
conversion.
