Table Overview
http://papio.biology.duke.edu/babase_system_html/ch02s04.html
"canine specific physical condition" Do you mean canine-specific physical
condition?
Entity-Relationship Diagrams
http://papio.biology.duke.edu/babase_system_html/ch02s05.html
Looks okay to me.

What's with the "eyeballing" in chest_stats, crownrump_stats, humerus_stats,
PCV_stats, testes_stats, and ulna_stats? I don't see any estimates here.
Why not just say "analysis with mean and standard deviation" or "descriptive
statistics"?
Darting (the main tables)
http://papio.biology.duke.edu/babase_system_html/ch03s04.html
ANESTHS
"the Antime value cannot be before either the related DARTINGS.Dartdaytime
time." There's no "or"... delete "either".
DARTINGS
Repeated line starting at Logisticnotes and going for 14 sections through
Ticknotes:
"This column may not be empty, contain no characters, nor may it contain
only spaces" This is a nonparallel list (naughty!) and it has no period at
the end. It should say "This column may not be empty, contain no
characters, nor contain only spaces."
CRnotes
"This column may be NULL. It must contain NULL when there are no
crown-to-rump measurements -- no related CROWNRUMPS rows. (Is this true,
here and regards the similar notes columns? [KOP])" So is it true? Also,
the other similar lines below CRnotes say "-- when there are no..." - that
is clearer. Testesnotes and Ticknotes need "when there are" added as well.
Dphysnotes and Dsamplenotes
"when there is no related DPHYS row.[98]."
"when there is no related DSAMPLES row.[99]."
Should be "when there are no related TABLE_NAME rows.[##]" with no second
period. 3 items: is/are, row/rows, delete extra period
Septube tubes? Can't these just be Septubes? Just wondering...
Questions - Where do results of all the samples (blood, hair, RNA, cultures,
etc.) go? Is that something we'll add later that would just link up to
these tables? Would tests we've had run on hair samples for heavy metals
and tissues collected from dead animals go there somewhere too? Do we need
a corpses table some day?
DTcultures
The number of blood "tissue" cultures taken. -- Blood is considered a
connective tissue so you don't need to call it quote-unquote "tissue" (at
least that's my vote...).
HUMERUSES - the Caution note
"The value contained in this column may have been adjusted for systematic
observational bias." Should be "Some values contained in this column have
been...". (There's more than one value in the column and some values have
been adjusted, others not - "may have" is ambiguous.)
TEETH
the Warning note
"The Tstate column cannot be changed to a NULL." --> The Tstate column
cannot be changed to NULL. (no "a")
the Note on the DENT_CODES view
"It returns a single row with individual columns for every kind of tooth."
It returns a single row PER BABOON/DARTDATE?
And ditto for the line just below it - "The DENT_SITES view provides a way
to query TEETH, returning a single row with individual columns for each
position in the mouth."
Teethid
"This is an automatically generated sequential number that uniquely
identifies the row and may be used to refer to a particular tooth (or tooth
site when a tooth is missing) examination." --> examination doesn't belong
there. Maybe it is leftover from a prior draft of the sentence?
Testside
"The testicle measured. The legal values are:
Valid Testside Values
Code Description
L the left testicle
R the right testicle"
--> Never put a colon after is/are! Also it is redundant to say "The legal
values are" and then have a caption that says "Valid Testside Values". I
suggest the first line just say "The testicle measured." Then present the
little table called "Valid Testside Values".
Testseq (Ulna length measurement Sequence)
"The system automatically re-computes Chseq values..."
Ulnas and chests in the testes? Hee hee. I didn't notice any of these copy
and paste errors above this but maybe we should double check for more?
TICKS
Tickkind - "and it's developmental stage" its!!!!
Tickpbnotes - Caution note
This one pasted in again - " This column may not be empty, contain no
characters, nor may it contain only spaces" Delete "may it" and add period.
ULNAS - Ulseq
"The system automatically re-computes Chseq values" -- here's that chest
again, in the ulna.
Darting (the support tables)
http://papio.biology.duke.edu/babase_system_html/ch05s05.html
CANINESTATES
"The different physical conditions a canine can be reported as having when
darted and examined. E.g. sharp." The canines are darted? -->
"when a baboon is darted and examined" e.g. should be followed by a comma.
LYMPSTATES
"The different conditions a lymph node can be found in when darting." Who
is the lymph node darting or where is it darting to? -->
"The different conditions in which a lymph node can be found during a
darting event."
PARASITES
Also change "when darting" to "during a darting event".
TOOTHCODES
"Deciduous[167] teeth have different codes than, are considered different
from, adult teeth." Add "and" before "are considered different from".
"Every toothcode value is speical, although there are no restrictions..."
Fix spelling of special and change although to though.
"Morphologically this column should be on TOOTHSITES, be associated with
tooth location." Replace comma with and.
"I am inclined to make the name of this column be Adult rather than
Deciduous for reasons of brevity, but I believe that Susan prefers it as-is.
I would like feedback from the folks who are likely to be doing the typing.
(KOP)" Well, I guess that's Lacey... I doubt it makes much difference.

Dang...I didn't look at this one yet.
