Hey Karl,
   So Marie just so happens to be the one crashing the server. Haha...
we just tried running another query, and the whole server stopped... and
i tried logging in on my system as babase_admin, to kill her process,
and it is saying signal sending failed. Let me know when you are awake
and get this... so we can try to hunt down the problem.

Just fyi the query we are running is:

select cycles.sname, cycles.cid, cycpoints.date,
cycpoints.code from cycles, cycpoints
where cycles.cid=cycpoints.cid;

and the one she ran yesterday that crashed it was

select biograph.sname, biograph.sex, biograph.birth,
biograph.bstatus, biograph.matgrp, census.status,
census.date, census.grp, maturedates.matured from
biograph, maturedates, census where
biograph.sname=census.sname and
biograph.sname=maturedates.sname;

hope these help to bring some light, but overall they don't seem like
incredibly complex queries... :-\

Let me know when you would like us to try running the query again while
you can be watching things :)

thanks so much
Lacey
