It's probably safest if I go ahead and rebuild all the automatic
Mdates, but if there's only one or 2 that need fixing then
it's easier if you go ahead and just fix them.
BTW, whatever you're doing with email replies and quoting is not
working very well for me. It's hard to follow who's saying
what. The whole business with HTML-ized email, color coding,
and so forth only works for a few back and forth's. (And does
not really work at all for those, such as myself, who read
the plain text.) If nothing else you run out of colors pretty
quickly. It's also kinda cruddy for archival. I'd
prefer plain text. If this is a problem we can work something
out.
(Microsoft seems to be making it harder and harder to
reply to emails in a fashion where people can respond directly
to the points made and it's easy to tell who said what,
so I understand if satisfying my request becomes unbearable. I kind of
suspect that MS is selling something, sharepoint perhaps,
that's designed to facilitate on-line discussion, or
maybe they've just done focus groups and are trying
to sell as much Outlook as possible. Anyway, for more on
what decades of Internet experience has taught
regarding effective on-line discussions see:

(which I randomly selected from Google.))
