[Babase] A proposed Babase announcment

THanks Karl, I like this announcement and am happy to have it  
released. However, perhaps it might work better to replace "rushed to  
release our code to the public anyway" with "decided to release our  
code to the public in its current form, with the understanding that  
this is a dynamic and frequently updated system."
