karl, I think this is a very good recommendation and i can't think of
any downside.. This is a bit difficult to call, as we have not
actually tried to pull much data out of these samples yet. however, I
think your proposal would work well and would be more streamlined
than we have. Others should advise though, as there will be other
perspectives.
I think we should have a "type" field as you describe below.
Do you still have plans to come to Duke again soon? What are your
thoughts on this?
