[Babase] Upload Program Questions/Requests

Hi Karl,
I will add these things to the Wiki, I just wanted to get an e-mail
out as well, with more things Leah and I came across while working on
the upload using the upload/wwwdiff programs as well as with postgres.

1. First, is it normal that the views don't have the "edit and delete"
options for each row like the tables do? We had to delete a psion file
worth of data which we double entered and had to go through parts and
interact_data seperately instead of using actor_actees, and I was
wondering if that is on purpose to avoid deletion of data which...
cascades if that is the appropriate word.

2. With the delete function within the tables, to delete a row, a
message pops up saying "Are you sure you want to delete this row".
Would it be possible for the program to show the row you have clicked to
delete, just to confirm you are getting rid of what you think you are?
This isn't that important, just another nice step in confirming what you
are deleting. (If a recent changes function is implemented, this won't
be so important as the rows will be saved somewhere ideally right?)

3. There is just a typo on the upload program, in the prompt line for
the file you wish to upload it says "File with Tab Delimited data data"
(2 data's)

4. In WWWdiff, I thought you had changed it so that the number of lines
per file was displayed at either the top or the bottom of the file, was
that something we just talked about that hasn't yet been implemented,
because for some reason I swore you had already done that.

5. Upload time in the upload program was very slow monday night too, I
don't know if it was a server problem, or the program, but most files
were taking about 20-30 seconds to upload, with some taking over a
minute. We'll be working again tomorrow on it and I'll update you on this.

6. We did have one file upload during which the server timed out. We
immediately checked babase to see if the data had been uploaded and it
wasn't there. We clicked the back button, and it said the file had been
successfully uploaded, and we then refreshed the actor_actees page and
it was there. This was ok in this case, but could potentially lead to
double uploads couldn't it?

I think thats all. Like I said, I can put the "To Do's" on the wiki,
just wanted to send them to you too!

Thanks so much

cheers,
Lacey
