Here's what was discussed after Susan left the conversation.
They'll be a lot of work during the data conversion checking
the data rejected by the data integrity rules, determining
if the rules are good or whether the data needs correcting.
Steph can do a lot of this as the bulk of the work involves
researching why the data is the way it is. I can set
Steph up with a way to remotely access the Princeton
foxpro master computer, so it's screen appears on her
desktop. This will allow her to make necessary corrections
to the master dataset so that it converts as planned and
will reduce the amount of communication which would be
required for Daphnie to make the changes which Steph has
researched.
While I'll certainly be involved during this process as the
rules may need adjusting, will need explaining, and I'll likely
be the one running the trial conversions, for the most part
I'll be working on the data entry programs while this is
going on.
