>Hi everyone (especially Susan),
>
>DUB (matured male) was marked absent on the Weaver's group census
>sheet on 6 May 2005. He was present in the group both before and
>after this absence. Also, he does not show up as present in another
>study group during this time (MEMBERS will interpolate him in Group
>9 during his absence from Weaver's if we enter the data strictly as
>it appears on the field census sheets).
>
>A field demography note for Weaver's group on 6 May reads: "1727,
>Dubu is not with the group today. Thorough search done. At 1746,
>Dubu rejoined the group and consorted Luna. We are sure he was not
>with the group when we found them."
>
>I asked Jeanne about this earlier today. She suggested that I enter
>DUB as present in Weaver's group on 6 May 2005 (despite his absence
>at the time of the group census) particularly because (1) his
>presence in Weaver's group later that day and subsequent consortship
>will be important for paternity-related queries and (2) a presence
>in Weaver's group that day does not conflict with a known presence
>in another study group.
I agree with Jeanne on this, but the demog note should be entered and
the status is D, right?.
