There's two ways to do this. You can cut and paste thin.txt
into an email, quoted, so that it has the little > quote marks
on each line and then note your changes as you would when
responding to any other email. That'll let me see your
changes against original text of the
specific version you are working
with, and there's no worry tracking which version
you are changing to find out what you did.
Then I make the changes.
That's kinda what I was expecting.
Or either I or Leah or Anne can show you how to to check out your
own copy of the babase source code and you can make your
changes there and check them back in. It should probably
be me for starters because there's a little setup to
do to begin with. And it'll all happen on Unix except
for maybe the editing, but if you do that on Windows
you'll have to watch out for a couple of things that
Windows might do to the text. And you'll be editing
docbook xml markup not text -- it'll have extra stuff
in it to all the hyperlinking and the semantics of
the content. I can
show you when I come back if you want to go that way.
