I'd prefer you just supplied the new data.  Otherwise I'll have
to have the program filter out the old data.

I just looked and E's do become BYs, so as far as I'm concerned
there's no reason not to just enter the maturity dates as Es
in the foxpro system.  Obviously, this won't work for rankdates
and there's not that much extra work involved to do the same
thing to maturity dates as rankdates so the text file approach
willl work.  The only thing is, I think that all the new
maturity BY dates will show up as "errors" in the automatic
comparison if I put them in from a text file.  They won't show
up that way if you put them into foxpro as Es.  (The rankdates
I can filter so I don't compare the BY dates at all,
but the maturedates already has some BY/E dates so that won't
work.)
