Hi,
Something came up when I spoke with Tabby yesterday
and it needs to go on somebody's list for completing
the switchover.
There are a few changes that occur in the data
as we switch between foxpro and postgres. These
are the changes that come up in the "comparetables.out"
file. Some examples are: the addition of estimated
Ddates, the addition of estimated Mdates, some changes
(that I suppose are corrections) in which Mdates, Tdates,
and Ddates glom together into which cycles, some changes
in RNKTYPES.Query, various support table changes
like the changes in MSTATUSES from K (known) and
E (estimated) to B (by) and O (On). And so forth.
I've documented (I hope) the important changes
in an appendex to the documentation. That still leaves
some undocumented changes in the data.
I imagine we need a way to document these changes
but I couldn't say what that would be. Perhaps
Lacey and Jeanne can cook up something? Lacey
can contact me if she needs any explaination of
the differences shown in the comparetables.out file.
(FYI, The changes to MEMBERS/interpolation are omitted
from comparetables.out because there were lots and
we got sick of looking at them.)
