[Babase] Psion setupid and program version question

I don't know enough about how programs are loaded on to
the Psions. Can anybody answer the questions raised below?

FYI
The uppoints program is currently ignoring the Psion
program version number and only records the setupid
(because they've always been the same, at least since
the data structure of the psion file stabilized.)

I'm not sure that Robert should answer this question
because it might have to do with the procedures
the project uses to load software onto the Psion.
(Maybe each setup file contains a collection of software?
In which case the thing to do is to record the
program version used in a particular setup file
version. ??)

 From SAMPLES.Setupid documentation:
Setupid (pison Setup file version IDentifier)

The version number of the Psion setup file.

We need more information on this. There is another bit of data in the
Psion Header field that contains the program version. My understanding
is that this is always the same as the setup file, but if not then we
need to record it too. And we need to find out what a setup file really
is and write that down here. Does anybody know more? Setup files and
program files are probably related in ways that have more to do with
the procedure used for loading software onto the Psion than with
programming for it. Help. (kop)

Note

This column is not validated against at standardized vocabularly
because, should the Psion software produce a different version number,
the software is, ipso facto, a different version and no further
validation is required.

This column may be NULL as older versions of the Pison software did not
record this information.
